Briana Dams

I'm so excited to enter my 17th year teaching art and my 13th year at Oakhurst. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but have called Atlanta home for the past 15+ years. I love that the arts provide students with creative self-expression and can be integrated into all subject areas to enhance engagement and confidence. My goal is to encourage students to become creative thinkers and problem-solvers in and out of the art room.

When I’m not creating art of my own, I like to keep busy by traveling with my husband, gardening, and being outdoors. As an animal lover, I work with a foster/rescue group and own two pets.
