Kimberly White

I am excited to begin my 9th year at Oakhurst as a second grade teacher. Prior to teaching at Oakhurst, I spent 20 years teaching Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th grades in Fulton and DeKalb county schools. I grew up not too far from Oakhurst, and during my summers off from college, I worked as a camp counselor at Beacon Hill Middle School (formerly Renfroe).  I fondly remember trekking to Oakhurst Park and what is now Oakhurst Market and renting videos for our campers to watch. Wow! Oakhurst has changed quite a bit since then! 

I am a wife and mother to three girls: Mackenzie (she’s a 2nd grade teacher too!), Macie (junior at Georgia Tech), and Marlie (freshman at Kennesaw State).  My girls and I enjoy shopping, laughing with each other, and playing tricks on their dad.  We are also proud owners of a Goldendoodle named Luna.
